How to apply

Complete the short online form by Dec. 8, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

You can complete the form in English or French.

The form asks you for the following information:

After you apply

Parachute will inform all applicants about the results of their grant submission by Dec. 18, 2026.

Submissions will be reviewed by a small committee made up of members from the Toxicovigilance Canada Public Outreach and Communications Working Group. The decision-making process will consider:

  • relevance of the proposed activities to poison prevention
  • alignment with evidence-informed practice
  • geographic location, with a goal to support activities across the country
  • intended audience, with a goal to reach people who are at higher risk of poisoning and from equity-deserving communities

Grant funds will be distributed in January 2027.

All grant recipients will be required to complete a short online form to report on their completed activities. This will help us understand and share the impact of the grants, and support future programs.
