Rachel joined Parachute in 2019 and manages Parachute’s programs and campaigns focused on home and sports injuries, including concussion, poison prevention and seniors’ falls. She leads the planning and implementation of Smart Hockey, Safe Kids Week and Poison Prevention Week.
In her role, Rachel translates current injury prevention research into resources for the public, and has expertise in program design, implementation and evaluation, project management, health promotion, data analysis and research.
Rachel holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Health Studies from Queen’s University.
