Are you someone looking to make a difference in the lives of your family, friends and community? Are you a person early in your career looking for an opportunity to work with an organization that addresses a leading public health issue?

Consider joining the Parachute Board.

Did you know that if you’re between the ages of 1 and 44, you are more likely to die from injury than any other cause. Leading causes include falls, poisoning and vehicle collisions. Preventable injuries cost the Canadian economy $29.4 billion annually.

We envision a Canada free of serious injuries, with people in Canada living long lives to the fullest. Our mission: to create a safer Canada by preventing serious and fatal injuries through evidence-based solutions that advocate and educate.

Do you have governance skills or leadership experience? We are looking for Directors to serve a three-year term on Parachute’s governance Board and we are prioritizing candidates with finance, legal and marketing experience.
