Julie Taylor joined Parachute in 2012 and is Manager of Knowledge Translation and Programs. She manages Parachute’s road safety and safe mobility initiatives.
She has led inter-disciplinary teams in the development, implementation and evaluation of national and provincial health promotion projects and events in the nonprofit and charitable sector for more than 15 years. She is experienced in project management, funder and relationship management, resource development, and event planning and co-ordination.
At Parachute, Julie is responsible for planning, managing and delivering road safety initiatives with a focus on the implementation of Vision Zero and a Safe System Approach. This includes overseeing and mobilizing the Parachute Vision Zero network of more than 800 members across Canada. Julie represents Parachute with communities and stakeholders, and on committees at national and provincial/territorial levels. In 2024, Julie was elected Vice Chair of the Ontario Vision Zero Alliance.
