David’s work with the non-profit sector began at an early age while a teenager volunteering as vice-chair with the Toronto Mental Health Association.

David’s passion has always been grassroots fundraising and he is deeply involved in his community as a producer and contributor to annual community events. He is an avid bowler and long-time treasurer for his league.

His work in injury prevention began part-time in the ’90s with one of Parachute’s legacy organizations – Safe Communities Canada – which he joined full time in 2006.

Today, David works with all departments of Parachute overseeing day-to-day operations and assisting with program delivery, including for Brain Waves, the Stacey Levitt Award and National Injury Prevention Day.
