Stephanie Cowle has spent more than 15 years working in the area of injury and trauma prevention. She is the Director of Knowledge Translation, leading the analysis and synthesis of research to develop the organization’s evidence-based solutions that advocate and educate. Stephanie’s experience includes working with government, health, sport and education collaborators at national and provincial/territorial levels. She led the publication of Canada’s first Guideline on Concussion in Sport in 2017, as well as that guideline’s second edition in 2024.
Stephanie excels at facilitating collaborations. She is a speaker and presenter at conferences and a media spokesperson on a number of injury prevention, public policy, and knowledge mobilization topics. Stephanie holds a BA in Sociocultural Anthropology from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Professional Certificate in Knowledge Translation from Sick Kids Learning Institute (accredited by the University of Toronto).
