Issue and proposed solutions

A young changemaker with the City of Vaughan Transportation Youth Ambassador Program has raised concerns about severe traffic congestion and safety risks near the intersection of straight from the west side frequently block traffic in all directions, including cars entering or exiting the Vaughan Mills parking lot. This leads to gridlock and unpredictable driver behaviour, increasing the risk of collisions and pedestrian safety hazards. To address this, the young leader has emailed Vaughan Mills Property Management to report the issue and propose the installation of signage prohibiting left turns and through traffic from the west side during peak hours.
